what a busy weekend! My drive was 5 hours to and from my sister's house. Lots of knitting time. The daffodils look so lovely and springtime-y. Wish we had them blooming here!!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try knitting in the car, I am not sure if it will make me travel sick. I know I can't read in the car, makes me feel really ill. If I could knit though, would certainly make the time on the boring old motorway go faster!
DeleteIt all sounds absolutely perfect! Especially the good company and Belgian waffles.
ReplyDeleteThe Belgian waffles were lovely! As was the company :)
DeleteHello, swinging by to say hi for the first time. Off to have a poke around now and see what's what. Sounds like you ate some good stuff at the weekend!
ReplyDeleteHello and welcome! It did occur to me on rereading my post that there seemed to be quite a focus on food.....
DeleteAs usual, a delight to read your musings. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cynthia! X
Deletesounds like a lovely weekend, especially hearing the stories from your traveling companion! i love listening to stories :)
ReplyDeleteMe too, especially from the older generation.
ReplyDeleteI love stories from that age group. So much to tell and they don't feel like they need to hold back. I so want to tag along on one of your country drives. Can't wait for bluebells (I think, is that right?)
